You are a beginner (levels A0, A1 and A2) and you don't dare to speak french: I will help you gain self-confidence. You will easily acquire the basics of the French language to express yourself correctly in everyday life.
You have an intermediate or advanced level (levels B1, B2, C1 and C2) and you want to improve your skills to live, study, work and/or travel in a French-speaking country: I will teach you the subtleties of the French language. Why do you want to learn French? We will get to know each other during your first free online meeting. I will evaluate your level in French. You will explain your objectives to me, in english if necessary, and I will thus propose a personalized progression to improve you quickly in French.
You will receive clear and precise thematic sheets accompanied by exercises adapted to your level, your pace of leanrning and your objectives. You determine the frequency (minimum once a week) and duration (minimum 30 minutes) of your French lessons. You choose the formula best suited to your availability. During each lesson we always have an interesting conversation in French about something topical, and this helps to improve my spoken French and highlight any specific difficulties which I may be experiencing. Isabelle is a wonderful teacher! I am planning a trip to France. I have taken French classes in the past, but I have forgotten much of it because I have had little opportunity to use it over the years. I was looking for a tutor who could help me improve my listening and speaking skills with an emphasis on those things that would be most important and useful during my trip, such as conversing with hotel/restaurant staff, guides, etc. Isabel was the perfect choice! She is always on time. She has a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Isabelle is absolutely fantastic. Not only is she a native French speaker, she also has superb knowledge of grammar, phonetics and writing skills. She is patient, she takes the time to get to know her pupils and understand their interests and objectives and tailor the lessons to make them as personalised as possible. The cherry on top of the cake, she has the best and clearest set of grammar help-sheets I have ever come across, so good it is actually fun to learn with them!

I have been learning french with Isabelle for over 3 months, taking 3 lessons a week. She is very thoughtful, kind and extremely well prepared. I am moving to Paris for work at the end of January and Isabelle has been helping me get my french level up to B1, as I will be entering a 1 month language intensive on arrival. I was very nervous for this step up, but have been building my confidence after each session and appreciate the progress I have made under her direction. Every lesson either has an exercise, or a topic of conversation and there is never a dull moment.
